Intensity, elegance and territory
Resulting from an entire year of research by The WineHunter Helmut Köcher and the respective tasting juries, The WineHunter Award guide represents the peak of a prestigious selection work dedicated to the best of Italian and international wine & food.
There are about 7,000 wines tasted by professionals who accompany the patron of the Merano Wine Festival. The evaluation takes into account for each wine different parameters including intensity, complexity, elegance, territoriality, sustainability, tradition, to reach a minimum score of 90/100.
Col Sandago with some of its best wines, subjected to strict tasting tests, has obtained prestigious awards as evidence of the work of growth pursued in recent years.
Wildbacher Colli Trevigiani IGT 2016, the red symbol of Col Sandago, capable of great longevity, produced in only four thousand five hundred bottles, has earned the Gold Award. Our crus “Vigna del Cuc” Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut 2021 and “Costa dei Falchi” Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Brut 2021 — in which the pure Glera vine is best expressed — have obtained the Rosso Award.
From the ability and passion, commitment and knowledge of the grapes, Col Sandago transforms with care and dedication what nature and territory produce. With a concert work between vineyard and cellar, our wine estate presents wines of extreme pleasure, now awarded with new international awards.
