Environmental and social sustainability has always been a topic dear to the Consortium for the Protection of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, which has taken another step forward this year: the Consortium has promoted a project focusing on the achievement of the S.Q.N.P.I. (National Integrated Production Quality System) certification for the farms producing the wines of this Designation.
Col Sandago, part of the universe of taste of the Hausbrandt Group and located in the heart of the Prosecco Superiore Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG, has obtained the S.Q.N.P.I. certification for all its vineyards.
An important acknowledgment for the company, which certifies the use of production and crop protection methods that involve minimization of the use of synthetic chemicals in the vineyard and rationalization of practices such as fertilization.
The three main trade associations Coldiretti, Confagricoltura, and CIA Agricoltori Italiani have been involved in the project, and their contribution gives even greater value to this initiative.
Col Sandago, remaining true to its identity of excellence, displays the certification plate in the Wildbacher, Merlot and Prosecco vineyards, testimony to a consistent and continuous journey of growth both in the vineyard and the cellar.
