Col Sandago Strikes a New Rhythm. Restyling and qualitative repositioning for the two new wines: White Incrocio Manzoni and Red Merlot Marzemino.
25 June 2026
The winery deeply renews its still wine line. A bold, tactile look that puts the wine at the centre, celebrating the indissoluble bond between terroir, heritage, and modernity.
Changing pace, daring in design, elevating quality. Col Sandago presents its profound restyling project that redefines the visual and sensory identity of its historic Bianco and Rosso still wines, which now become “White Incrocio Manzoni” and “Red Merlot Marzemino“. This revolution goes beyond aesthetics; it marks a major turning point in quality, redefining the positioning of these two labels within the contemporary winemaking scene.
The Graphic Concept: the central die-cut puts the wine at the centre
The new visual direction for White and Red was created to engage with a young, dynamic, and curious target audience, consumers looking for refined products with an unmistakable style, characterized by an excellent quality-price ratio. The graphic concept dares to break traditional rules through a central die-cut label: a distinctive detail where the label opens up to make room for the true protagonist, the wine. A slanted space where the wine reveals its identity, rhythm, and evolution over time. The label becomes a high-level tactile and visual experience: the use of textured paper marries the refinement of glossy varnish, creating a high-impact interplay of relief and contrasts.
The Qualitative Repositioning
The renewal is not just formal, but delivers a decisive leap in quality in the glass. Both wines are indissolubly linked to their micro-zone of origin and to an even more rigorous agronomic and oenological care, aimed at expressing the excellence and authenticity of the Treviso hills.
White: the purity of Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13
The most significant product innovation concerns White Incrocio Manzoni Col Sandago. Compared to the past, when the wine was born from a blend of Incrocio Manzoni and Chardonnay, today the winery makes a radical choice: White becomes a pure Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13.
This turning point celebrates a great Italian story closely tied to the hills of Conegliano. It was right here, nearly a century ago, that Professor Luigi Manzoni created this noble grape variety, bringing together the elegance of Rhine Riesling and the structure of Pinot Bianco. Col Sandago reinterprets this history with a modern twist. An elegant, intense white wine deeply rooted in the Veneto region. White Incrocio Manzoni shines instantly: the nose releases fresh, fruity notes accompanied by a subtle mineral trace that gives it rhythm and identity. In the mouth, it sounds harmonious: dry, balanced, and with a surprising body, sustained by a lively freshness that keeps time until the very last sip. It is one of those sounds that make the soul vibrate: inside, you find research, tradition, and authenticity. White tunes in perfectly with flavours and enhances every pairing with style and naturalness, capable of giving rhythm to an aperitif or stylishly accompanying fish and white meat dishes.
Red: the contemporary union of Merlot and Marzemino
Red Merlot Marzemino Col Sandago is a blend that represents the most enveloping and magnetic interpretation of the Marca Trevigiana: two different souls meeting to create a deep, brilliant, and incredibly contemporary red wine. In the glass, Red Merlot Marzemino strikes with its bright ruby colour. On the nose, it opens with enveloping notes of ripe red fruits, weaving into a rich and magnetic bouquet. On the palate, it is decisive: medium body, good structure, and a long persistence that carries the sip with personality and a strong identity. Red pairs perfectly with roasts, game, and aged cheeses. The ideal counterpoint to every note, it duets with flavours without ever overpowering them. If White Incrocio Manzoni is the light-heartedness of a day trip out of town, Red Merlot Marzemino is the warmth of a dinner with friends, the moment to slow down and let oneself be guided by the deep notes of the music.
With White Incrocio Manzoni and Red Merlot Marzemino, Col Sandago signs two different ways of interpreting the terroir, because for every moment there is the right rhythm: Right Wine, Perfect Time.
