A territory, its history...
The company Col Sandago was founded in the 1960s. From the very beginning strong ties between the winery and the territory were created; think of the name: Col Sandago, which is the name of the hill where the vineyards are located. A charming place that caught the attention of artist and businessman Martino Zanetti in the ‘90s, and which he acquired, because he saw its potential.

As is often the case in areas that are rich in tradition, the border separating reality from fiction is difficult to see.
Our wines are inspired by the local culture, they recall symbols and myths that belong to these hills.
The bond with the territory affects each bottle, because wine is storytelling, too.
Today's high-tech premises
Our winery in Susegana is equipped with innovative technology that allows to reach high quality standards. The premises are subdivided in wide and well-lit areas dedicated to the separate stages of grapes processing, and the production cycle is entirely managed electronically, so as to obtain constant and unvarying characteristics in each wine.
Col Sandago is the expression of the vision and expertise of the Hausbrandt Group, which has been focusing on quality and the pursuit of excellence for over a century. There is a thread linking wine, coffee and beer under a common vision: respect for raw materials, enhancement of the territory and attention to every detail.

The closeness of the cellar to the vineyards is explained by the need for easy transportation of the grapes and by our passion for the vines and land. Its architectural style is intended to respect the delicate balance between natural landscape and human activities. The same love is also applied to our care for the vines: pruning, trimming and grapes selection are performed in complete respect of nature and its times.
SQNPI certification: commitment to sustainable quality
Col Sandago adheres to the Sistema di Qualità Nazionale di Produzione Integrata (SQNPI) (National Quality System for Integrated Production), an official certification that guarantees the adoption of sustainable agricultural and processing practices throughout the production chain. The SQNPI label certifies compliance with strict national and regional standards on environmental protection, food safety and social responsibility.
SQNPI certification ensures that every stage of the process, from vineyard to bottle, is monitored and managed according to strict sustainability criteria. Independent control bodies verify compliance with these requirements annually through detailed plans and records.
Only products that pass all the tests can bear the SQNPI label: a guarantee for the consumer of a wine produced with responsibility towards the environment, people and quality.
