The sixth edition of Falstaff Sparkling Special is coming out: after a careful series of tastings in various European countries, the best representatives of the different production areas are on the podium, with the top winemakers and the best wines. The most accurate and competent professional tasters are coordinated – in Italy – by Falstaff Italia’s tasting manager Simon Staffler, and are now presenting the results of months of evaluations.

Col Sandago proudly features in the 2023 guide with four different versions of its Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, sharing the podium with the most important Italian and European sparkling wines.

For the 2022 vintage: 91 points respectively for “Vigna Del Cuc” Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut and “Case Bianche” Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry; 90 points for “Costa Dei Falchi” Rive di Collalto Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Brut. 89 points for “Antico” Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG – Brut Nature – 2021 vintage.

Col Sandago is located in a suitable territory, but it is through the harmony between terroir and passion, care of the vineyards and work in the cellar that the collective commitment aimed at producing extremely pleasant wines arises. The Falstaff Sparkling Special 2023 recognition of merit is just the latest acknowledgment for this Estate, which expresses its powerful identity in these wines.
